Reversing: When the road sweeper is in reverse gear, the reverse lights illuminate. These lights typically use white LEDs, providing a bright and soft glow. They effectively illuminate the area behind the vehicle, helping the driver see clearly behind, reducing blind spots when reversing, and preventing collisions with obstacles or pedestrians.
Turn Signal: The left and right turn signals use orange or amber LEDs, respectively. When the vehicle turns, the corresponding turn signal flashes at a steady rate, providing a clear turn signal and alerting surrounding vehicles and pedestrians of the sweeper's direction change. This allows other road users to react in advance, improving road safety.
Taillight: These taillights, typically red LEDs, act as a continuous light at the rear of the vehicle. They illuminate continuously while the vehicle is in motion, indicating the vehicle's position and outline. This allows vehicles behind to detect the sweeper from a distance, effectively reducing the risk of rear-end collisions, especially at night or in low-visibility conditions. Braking function: When the driver presses the brake pedal, the brake light (usually a red LED) will immediately light up at a high brightness, which can quickly attract the attention of the driver of the vehicle behind and remind them to slow down in time to avoid rear-end collisions. Due to the extremely fast response speed of LED, it can buy more reaction time for the vehicle behind compared to traditional lamps.
